East Lampeter Township, PA (February 11, 2026) – Emergency crews responded early Tuesday morning to a serious vehicle crash in Lancaster County that resulted in a fatality.
According to dispatch reports, the crash occurred around 6:42 a.m. near the intersection of Creek Hill Road and Hartman Station Road in East Lampeter Township. Initial information indicates that a truck left the roadway and struck a tree.
Officials at the scene reported that the vehicle caught fire following the impact and that one person was trapped inside the truck. Shortly after first responders arrived, the Lancaster County Coroner was called to the scene.
Emergency personnel remained on location for an extended period of time to manage the fire, secure the area, and begin an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash. Traffic in the immediate area was impacted while crews worked.
The cause of the accident has not yet been released and remains under investigation by local authorities.
