Route 30 Traffic Shut Down on Wrights Ferry Bridge

Following the crash, all westbound lanes of Route 30 were temporarily closed between:

  • Route 441 / Columbia / Marietta exit
  • Route 462 / Wrightsville exit

The closure caused traffic to come to a standstill across the Wrights Ferry Bridge, a major transportation corridor connecting Lancaster County and York County.

PennDOT and emergency crews remained on scene while vehicles were cleared and the roadway was inspected.

Route 30 Reopens After Crash Investigation

After emergency responders completed their work and debris was removed from the roadway, all westbound lanes of Route 30 reopened to traffic. Officials have not yet confirmed the cause of the crash, and the investigation remains ongoing.

Drivers were also advised to use caution while traveling, as a wintry mix was moving through the region at the time of the crash, potentially creating hazardous road conditions.
